Lynn + Javier are Having Babies!

Yes, that's correct - BABIES!! In the coming weeks Lynn + Javier will be graced with not one, but two wee babies! I can very excited for them and cannot wait to meet the li'l guys/gals. You may recognize Lynn + Javier from Andrea + Ravi's Wedding that took place in Trinidad - Javier is Andrea's brother. While in Trinidad I got to know the whole family quite well... (tee hee!). Lynn + Javier came to my studio a couple of weeks ago with their "other baby" Matilda for a maternity session.

Reem + Craig Are Having a Baby!

The lovely Susan at Moments that Shine bought a gift certificate from me in December for her friends Reem + Craig who are expecting in February. Since Reem + Craig live in Sudbury, it was a mission to get them down to the city for the session and the key was to do it on a weekend when Susan could throw a surprise baby shower for them! The weekend turned out well and Reem + Craig came into my studio on a Sunday morning before making their way back home to Sudbury. Reem + Craig are an adorable couple. I bet that their baby will be one of the most smiley ones ever!

R+D Are Having a Baby!

Just before I went away on holidays, R+D came into my studio for a maternity portrait session. Theirs was my first session of the year and also my first official session using my new camera. R+D are an adorable couple and I can just imagine how cute their wee one is going to be! The session started as a standard maternity portrait session and ended sizzlin' hot!

Jenn + Jim are Having a Baby!

I met Jenn + Jim a couple of weeks ago at their awesome downtown condo for a maternity portrait session. I am so excited to meet the little guy! Jenn + Jim have got to be one of the nicest couples ever and I know that they are going to make awesome parents for l'il Phoenix. Congratulations Jenn + Jim!

Some of you blog followers may recognize this past bride of mine. Next month she is going to be graced with a wee boy! In August she came by my studio for a Boudoir Maternity session. I think that you will all agree that she is one hot mama!

Neeka + Nick Are Having a Baby!

Way back in the day I photographed Neeka + Nick's wedding. They have got to be one of the happiest couples ever. They are always smiling! When Neeka emailed me in the spring to say that they were expecting, I was ecstatic! In August they came by my studio for a maternity portrait session. Their li'l guy will be making his appearance in a couple of weeks!

This lovely lady came to my studio last week. She is six and a half months pregnant and wanted to have some sexy portraits taken for her husband. Talk about hot mama!

Lisa + Adam Are Having a Baby!

I seriously love my job and seriously love my clients. I actually get paid to hang out with some fabulous people who share a bit of themselves to me and my camera so that I can capture all of those special little moments for them. I absolutely love every second of it!

I was so excited when I heard from Lisa + Adam at the beginning of the year that they were expecting a wee one come July! They are such a fantastic couple and I know that they are going to make the best parents. In June of 2007 I photographed their wedding and almost a year later, I had a maternity portrait session with them. We met at one of my favourite locations in Toronto to photograph at - Cherry Beach. Congrats Lisa + Adam! I can hardly wait to meet the new baby in a couple of months!

Eva + Jason are having a baby!

In the next couple of weeks Eva + Jason are going to be blessed with a wee baby boy! Their family is currently in the Caribbean celebrating Eva's brother's destination wedding and since Eva is so far along in her pregnancy, she was not able to travel down for the festivities. Because of this, her family wanted to do something special for Eva + Jason and for Christmas they bought a maternity portrait session for them! This past weekend we met at her brother's gorgeous condo in South Etobicoke to do the session. Eva used to be a model so she was a natural in front of the camera. We had a lot of fun doing the session that ended up being a cross between a maternity and fashion session.

We had to do a few photos of Jason alone so that he did not feel left out! ;) Isn't their baby going to be gorgeous?!

Laura + Rob are having a baby!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Laura + Rob at their new home in the Beach. Some of you may be familiar with Laura as she is a make-up artist extraordinaire! Laura + Rob were married in May and next month, they will be graced by little Sophie. These two move fast! Laura + Rob are an awesome couple: they seem as though they have known each other forever and they have such fun together. Never have I laughed so much while photographing a couple. Sophie is going to be one lucky girl to have such great parents. I can hardly wait to meet her!

Margaret Anne + Marcus are having a baby!

I recently photographed one of the cutest couples ever! Margaret Anne and Marcus are having a baby in the next month and are very excited for the little guy/gal to grace them with his/her presence.

Jenny & Craig are having a baby!

Jenny and Craig are having their first baby very soon! Jenny is due next week. The room is ready and the crib is made, just waiting for their little guy to come! On Sunday I met with them to do a portrait session in their home. It was a little rainy out so we stuck mostly indoors for the photography.

Brenda & Chris are having a baby!

I had four different photography shoots this past weekend - two weddings and two maternity portrait sessions. It was pretty hectic but a lot of fun! I wanted to jump ahead and show some images from the last shoot that I had this weekend I hope my other clients don't mind but I had to do this for two reasons:

1) August 13th was Brenda & Chris' Second Anniversary! I was honoured to photograph their wedding in Vancouver two years ago and I can hardly believe how quickly the time has flown. Happy Anniversary, you guys!

2) The second reason that I had to post these photos right away is that in less than one week, Brenda and Chris will be graced with their first child!

I am very excited for them. Brenda and Chris are great people who have really helped me over the years with my photography since both of them are fabulous photographers themselves. It has been fun watching Brenda's belly grow over the past nine months and I can hardly wait to meet their li'l guy/gal that is just waiting to see this world!

More of Abby

Although my sister Abby's due date is not for another two weeks, she looks as though she will be ready to give birth any day now! Her last day of work was on Friday so now we just have to wait for the little guy/gal to come out. Today we took advantage of having perhaps her last "free" weekend and went to Port Hope where we grew up. Living in Port Hope we spent a lot of time at the beach so it felt natural to take some portraits of Abby there.

My sister Abby's due date is now a month and a half away! I had to get her out and take some more photographs before my little niece/nephew is born. So last weekend we headed to Kensington Market, a place where Abby hangs out whenever she gets a chance. It is a vibrant place of colour, people and endless nooks for taking photos!
