Fabulous Fifty

At my most recent Boudoir Marathon I photographed a woman who just turned fifty. I thought that it was such a wonderful idea to pamper oneself with a session like this at such a great age!

After the session, she wrote me this wonderful thank you note:

Hi Jessica, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my session last week. I've always wanted an ultra sexy photograph of myself. But let's face it some of us are a bit shy, we may not have "perfect model" bodies or faces. I'm not a young bride in her 20's but a mature woman who has been living life to the max. I've often thought about having a boudoir photography session but hesitated because let's face it getting semi-naked in front of strangers and baring it all was a bit daunting. Besides gravity lately has not been my best friend.

Jessica you and your team were absolutely fantastic, you made me feel very secure and safe and somehow worked your magic on my confidence levels. Before I knew it I was strutting around and posing and major surprise here - having a great time, laughing and hamming it up in front of the camera. All the while dressed in various Victoria Secret outfits I had bought. I never would have believed I could do this. The end results are photographs of myself that I couldn't believe were me. Wow I look great. I'm telling my friends - If you have ever dreamed of having a session done - DO IT - call Jessica - she'll help you make your dream come true. And remember, you don't have to be a bride, I'm going to make a note in my calender to have another session - for my 55th birthday.

Boudoir from the Weekend!

On Saturday I had four lovely ladies to my studio for another Boudoir Marathon. I was very excited to use my new backdrop that was especially purchased for these type of portraits! Here are some of my favourite images from one of the sessions. This bride is getting married this summer and I know that her future hubby will love the photos!

Before + After

I get asked a lot by clients about my additional retouching. When you hire me for boudoir portraits, I have you choose twenty of your favourite images and do this additional retouching to the images. For this, I take out any imperfections, smooth out the skin and pump up the contrast to make it the perfect image that you then see! Here is a sample of the before and after of a photograph that I took of a lovely bride this past weekend.

On Saturday I had a portrait session in the studio that was a first for me. With all of these boudoir portrait sessions lately, it was only a matter of time before I got a client who wanted to bear it all for the camera! Boudoir :: Just for Her!

When this woman contacted me to book a boudoir session I was very excited. In her email she told me that this session was purely for herself. Many of the woman that I have photographed boudoir for have expressed this to me but have always used their fiancés at an excuse for having the portraits done. This woman was straight up in saying that she wanted some beautiful photos of herself for herself. I loved it!

I am very excited to be posting these photos because this bride is hot! Last weekend I photographed her at my studio. The photos are for her future hubby as a wedding gift which she will give to him while they are in the Carribbean tying the knot. The love Dorota Buczel did her make-up and I always love working with her!

Studio Boudoir

This bride was hot! She brought a ton of different outfits for us to work with for her boudoir portrait session that took place during the marathon that I held in August. Her wedding is coming up very soon and I know that her fiancé will be very surprised when he receives these as his wedding gift!

Fun Boudoir!

On Sunday, August 19th, I held a boudoir marathon at my studio in Toronto. By the end of the day, I had photographed six separate sessions with six lovely ladies! It was a lot of fun to see what outfits and accessories they would bring to show their personalities and style. My last session was with a woman who took a different spin on the boudoir session. She brought along a variety of outfits that were more like fun costumes. It was a great way to finish up the day!

Hey there, blue eyes!

On Friday I had a boudoir session in the studio with a woman who has the bluest eyes ever!! She wanted these photos to give to her husband for their third anniversary. The gift for the third anniversary is traditionally leather so she plans to put them in a beautiful leather album.

This week is a little boudoir mad for myself! By Sunday I will have shot eight different girls in one week, including six that I am photographing during my "boudoir marathon day"! On Wednesday I met with a girl at her condo to take some sexy shots of her for her husband. Here are some of my favourites from the session.

On Friday I went to this bride's downtown Toronto condo for her boudoir portrait session. The lovely Dorota did her hair and make-up in two different "looks". I love how different they make her look!

On Friday I met a bride at the Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto for a boudoir portrait session. The room that she rented was perfect for the shoot and included a balcony that allowed for some fun photos! Here are a few from the session that I have permission to post.

My second boudoir session in the studio on Sunday was with a friend of mine. It was the first time that I have done boudoir portraits of someone that I know. She ended up bringing another friend for support and the three of us had a great time! Her wedding is in a couple of weeks and the photos are to give to her fiancé as a wedding gift. I am sure that he will love them!

Here are some images from my latest boudoir session that I did last week. The photographs were taken at the bride's house. Her fiancé called twice while we were doing the session and I was amazed at how quickly she came up with "stories" to tell him as to what she was doing. Now if only she can keep the secret for a couple of months!

On Sunday I shot a boudoir portrait session for a bride in her home. We had a lot of fun doing the shoot! Already I have received some feedback from the bride: "Let me just say first of all, you are extremely talented and I am happy to recommend you to anyone I can. I had such a good time on Sunday and you made me feel completely comfortable."

Latest Boudoir Session

On Sunday I photographed a boudoir session of a lovely bride who is getting married very soon. It was a pretty sneaky adventure for her as she travelled to Toronto by train from practically the other side of the province just to do the shoot. For a location, she chose to rent a room at the gorgeous and classy Royal York Hotel. The photographs are to be a wedding gift for her fiance. I hope that he loves them!

New Boudoir Portraits

Today I did a boudoir photography session with a bride. The session took place in her home in Hamilton. The photographs are for her lucky fiance as a gift for their wedding which is a mere six weeks away! She was a little nervous at first but by the end of the shoot, we were having fun!

Yesterday I had a really fun shoot with a client! We did a sexy boudoir portrait shoot in her apartment. We had some fun with different outfits and locations within her environment. The final photographs will end up in a twenty page Asuka album to be given to her future husband as a wedding gift. Let's see if she can keep the photos a secret until her spring wedding date!
